About Hockley Instruments

Hockley Instruments is the product of a passion for the automotive industry and aftermarket modding, founded by two twin brothers. Inspired by high-ticket car design alongside luxury and classic interiors, we want to build infrastructure towards full modularity and customisation for your interiors. In an age of tacky, laggy screens and afterthought design, we strive to revive the needle — building solutions the industry forgot to make. Founded in Essex, United Kingdom.

As two young graduates struggling to find our place in the current climate, we decided to take the leap and start building on our own terms. Both of us are passionate about motorsport, cars and the automotive industry as a whole, but feel the recent trends of interior design and the lack of plug-and-play sim racing solutions for real-steel equipment need to be addressed. Inspired by the gorgeous interior of the 1997 BMW M Roadster, we aim to bring a modern take on such a great era of design into the current decade — with tasteful nuance and no cost to modularity.

Our ethos

We prototype our instruments in the UK to maintain the high standard the regulations demand. No corners are cut, and whilst our products are manufactured overseas, quality control is our highest priority. We are believers in engineering quality, utility and reliability, and we will ensure this ethos is reflected in everything we make.
